When the doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mother are sitting down for tea, the last thing they expect to see is a big, furry, stripy tiger! The tiger drinks all the tea and eat all the food in the house, even draining all the water from the taps. The next day, Sophie and her mother go buy some food, including a big tin of tiger food. But the tiger never returns.
